Ama Dablam Expedition (6812m) is a challenging expedition in the Everest region. The peak is spectacular and the peak climbers dream to touch its summit. It is an adventurous journey that the climbers should have technical skills to cross the crevasses, steep icy slopes and demanding routes. Ama Dablam expedition is also suitable mountaineering trip before heading to climb Mt. Everest (8848m).

It is southern face of Ama Dablam that can be seen during the Everest region treks, which is the climbing route of the peak. When you tackle the heightening ridges, you feel exigent. The Ama Dablam expedition trip begins with a trekking from Lukla, continually to Namche Bazaar, Pangboche and head to Ama Dablam Base Camp. Various camps (base camp, camp I, II and III) are set for the expedition. Our professional mountain guides assist you in the climbing activities, teaching techniques to climb up and down, using climbing equipments and acclimatization practice. From the Ama Dablams pinnacle, the spectacular Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and the surrounding peaks can be explored and you can take abundant snaps to arrest such breathtaking Himalayan panoramas. Climbing down to the Ama Dablam base camp, you have a chance to celebrated the successful trip. Then you descend to Lukla for the flight to Kathmandu via Namche Bazaar.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01:Our guide will welcome you at Kathmandu airport (1345meters)and transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu . Overnight at hotel.

Day 02:Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and prepartion about trek . Overnight at hotel.

Day 03:Fly to Tenzing and Hillary Airport in Lukla (2804 meters) from Kathmanduand trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3-4 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 04:Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 5-6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 05:Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 06:Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters) 5-6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 07:Tengboche to Ama Dablem base camp (3930 meters ) 6-7 hours .

Day 08:Climbing time to Summite Ama dablam (6812m)

Day 26:Climbing time to Summite Ama dablam (6812m)

Day 27:Ama Dablem Base camp to Namche. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 28:Namche to Lukla (2804 meters) 6 -7hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 29:Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning. Overnight at hotel.

Day 30:Leisure day in Kathmandu Overnight at hotel

Day 31:Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.


Cost Include

  • Expedition Royalty and permit of Nepal Government to climb Mt. Ama Dablam
  • Trekking Permit (National Park entry fee) and TIMS card
  • 4 nights hotel in Kathmandu on twin sharing BB basis.
  • Domestic flight from Kathmandu  Lukla(both side) and airport tax.

  • Sleeping bag & down jacket on request.
  • All wages, equipment, medical and accidental Insurances for all staffs in the expedition
  • Farewell Dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with domestic culture show in Kathmandu before departure.

Cost Exclude

  • Lunch and Dinner during your stay in Kathmandu .
  • Any packed food/snacks, drinks, energy drinks, mineral water, alcohol, cigarettes,
  • chocolates, nutria-bars or any other food consumed beyond the prescribed breakfast, lunch and  dinner, etc.
  • Items of personal nature, Laundry Expenses, Tips.
  • Expenses incurred towards usage of landlines, mobiles, walkies,talkies or satellite phone and Internet expenses.
  • Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Camera/Video Fees or Trekking Gears.
  • Any extra expenses arising out of various/unforeseen situations like natural calamities,
  • landslides, political disturbances, strikes, changes in Government regulations, etc
  • Transportation is not on disposal basis. It is strictly as per the itinerary. Any extra distance traveled will be charged extra.
